During 2001, Dr. Cho visited 8 cities among 5 countries to preach the Gospel to more than 280,000 in the United States, the Middle East, Asia, and in Africa. About 30,000 people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Especially, Dr. Cho held crusades in Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana and delivered hope and vision to the African people through the gospel of Jesus. He also visited the United States, Jordan, and Japan to set the fire of the Holy Spirit through the Gospel.

The NAE invited DCEM president Dr. David Yonggi Cho to speak on March 6 for Plenary Session 1 on the topic, Prayer and the Holy Spirit in the 21st Century. He was the keynote speaker for the celebration rally that night and focused on the importance of blessings received through prayer.
On March 5, Dr. Cho preached for the Dallas United Crusade sponsored by the North American Council of the Full Gospel World Missions. In addition, a breakfast prayer meeting was held on March 6.

Washington D.C. crusade held in Full Gospel First Church of Washington April 3-4, 2001. The General Assembly for the Full Gospel North American Council (FGNAC) of the Full Gospel World Mission Association was held in Washington D.C. April 2-5, 2001.
* May 1~2 : 'Harvest Power Conference' in Jordan
The Harvest Power Conference in Jordan was a tremendous event because more than 12,000 people participated and approximately 500 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit, which would be prepared an advance base for missions for Jordan where were almost not spread the Gospel (or an barren land for the Gospel)
* May 25~31 : 'Spiritual Renewal Conference 2001' at Sarang

The Spiritual Renewal Conference 2001 was held at Sarang Community Church May 25-27 in Los Angeles. Dr. David Yonggi Cho was invited to speak.
The 19th Pentecostal World Conference was held in Los Angeles May 28-31.
* August 24~26 : The REFICE 2001 Crusade in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire
About 100,000 participants for the two nights filled the FHB Stadium in Abidjan and prayed for the political and social prosperity of Cote d'Ivoire. On August 26, Dr. Cho also spoke in the Sunday worship service at the United Church in Cote d'Ivoire.
* August 28~31: Three-day Miracle Crusade & Church Growth *************Conference in Accra, Ghana
About 100,000 people for three days attended at the crusade. It was a yard of national festival full of grace and healing blessing by the Holy Spirit.

It emphasized the important about reaching 10 million Japanese for the Lord. And also it was an opportunity for Japanese and Korean Japanese who had been suffered to be strengthening spiritually.
