C.G.I. India Crusade - this crusade, the biggest Protestant meeting in India, attracted much attention. Two million came to the crusade, and it was held at Marina Beach. The crusade's reputation created new possibilities for evangelizing India and was a turning point for the Holy Spirit movement. Not only Christians but also many Hindus and Muslims came to the crusade, and hundreds accepted Christ. Moreover, many people received healing during the prayer for the sick. During the daytime, a pastors' seminar was held for 20,000 Protestant church leaders at Kamarajar Memorial Hall. The crusade was the first Christian meeting permitted by the Indian government.

Okinawa Crusade with Dr. Cho toward reaching 10 million Japanese for the Lord - it was held at the Okinawa Mount of Olives Hospital and also at Urasoe Civic Hall.
* March 9-14
C.G.I. Chile and Paraguay Crusade with Dr. Cho - the Chile crusade filled with the dynamic Holy Spirit and repentance was held at the Puyehue National Park in Santiago, the capital city of Chile from March 9-11. About 80,000 people from several Central and South American countries attended, including Catholic Christians. The Paraguay crusade was held March 11-14 with 130,000, and the work of the Holy Spirit moved powerfully upon the sick and the unsaved.

Sydney Crusade with Dr. Cho - the crusade was held at Darling Harbor Convention Center in Sydney. Dr. Cho emphasized the work of the Holy Spirit to 7,000 attendees.
* May 11-14
Norway Holy Spirit Festival - it was held in Oslo, the capital city of Norway. The festival at Spectrum Hotel Convention Center stirred up the Northern European churches and introduced fervent prayer and the Holy Spirit movement. It was a historical festival with 20,000 attendees.

East Russia Evangelism Crusade - 30,000 East Europeans came to the crusade and amazingly 25,000 accepted Christ.
* Sep 13
Los Angeles Great Evangelism Crusade with Dr. Cho - it was hosted by Southern California Christian Committee, the interdenominational Protestant Church Assembly in L.A., with the theme, "Lord, Let Us Be United." It was held at Ardmore Park, the center of Korea town, and 5,000 attended.
* Nov 15-17
The wind of the Full Gospel blew into Indonesia - the meetings were held in Surabaja, Indonesia. They were successful with 150,000 attendees.

Sweden Crusade with Dr. Cho - the crusade was organized by 50 interdenominational churches, and about 10,000 people attended. It was a huge crusade, with neighboring counties participating such as Finland, Norway, England, France, and Germany. Simultaneous interpretation was provided in nine languages.
