Pastor Cho's Sermon Outline - Yoido Full Gospel Church - Seoul, Korea
Heaven in a Heart
Matthew 6:10

2007-01-21

Introduction : We have been living in the three-dimensional world of time, space and material ever since we were born. However, we are perplexed and afflicted with many stressful things that happen in our daily lives. Why are all of these unexpected and unpleasant events always happening? Is there really nothing we can do about them except sit back and suffer?

1. What a heart is filled with comes out    (Lk 6:45)
    1) The body is controlled by time, material and space, but the heart is on a different
        level
        (1) The second dimension is higher than the first dimension, the third dimension is
higher than the second dimension, and the fourth dimension is higher than the
             third dimension
        (2) A higher dimension controls a lower dimension    (Ge 1:2)
        (3) The body and environment is in the three dimension, but the heart is in the fourth
             dimension    (Joel 2:28)
    2) A negative mind, an evil mind, and a defeated mind create that kind of environment
        (Pr 16:32, Joel 2:13)

2. The things that move a heart
    1) Thinking-positive thoughts and negative thoughts    (Php 4:13, Ro 8:28)
    2) Dreams-positive dreams and negative dreams    (Jer 33:3, Ge 15:5, Nu 13:33)
    3) Faith-positive faith and negative faith    (Ro 4:17-18)
    4) Words-positive words and negative words    (Pr 8:20-21, Mk 11:23)

3. What is done in heaven will be done on earth
    1) Heaven in the kingdom of God and heaven in a heart
        - The place of the Lord´s throne is heaven
        - Make your heart become heaven, then the circumstances will become heaven
            (Ps 22:3, Lk 17:21)
    2) If Jesus is in the heaven of a heart
        (1) Fill it with forgiveness and righteousness    (Ro 3:23-24, Eph 1:7)
        (2) Fill it with holiness and the fullness of the Holy Spirit    (Ti 3:6-7, 2Co 7:1)
        (3) Fill it with healing    (Mt 8:16-17, 1Pe 2:24)
        (4) Fill it with the blessing of Abraham    (2Co 8:9, Gal 3:9)
        (5) Fill it with eternal heaven    (Jn 14:1-3)
        - Think, dream, believe, speak and praise with thanksgiving about these things.
Then they will become a reality in your life. However, your life will become like hell
if your heart is filled with earthly things and the devil.    (Ps 37:4-5)

Conclusion : Many good and evil things that we experience happen as natural consequences of our own deeds. However, we can have control over our circumstances if we guard our heart.

Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.
