Introduction : The Garden of Eden was a paradise on earth. God made it according to the heavenly kingdom. There was no sin in the Garden of Eden. That´s why there was no shame of sin or severance from the relationship with God. Adam and Eve always dwelled with God. The vitality and beauty of everything was limitless, and God said that it was good. There was no shadow of death in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve and every living creature were destined to live forever. However, an unimaginable disaster came upon this Garden. Adam and Eve committed sin by disobeying God´s commandment. That´s why the disaster of sin and death came and the relationship between God and humanity was severed. The curse accompanied death, and all the earth was so cursed and wasted, that people killed one another. Because of sin, physical bodies became old and sick, died, and fell into hell. Since then, human beings have been born with three calamities. They struggle to be free from these calamities and then die.
1. Greek philosophy and God´s teachings 1) Greek philosophy thought that since the soul was good and the physical body was evil, it would be the greatest happiness to be united with the god of Apollo after the physical body died and its soul was free. 2) The thought of the Hebrews, that is, God´s teaching - God does not think that the soul and body of human beings are separated. The human body and soul are one. That´s why Christianity believes that the resurrection is the foundation of faith. Jesus´ spirit was not liberated by separating from the body when He died. But when He was resurrected three days after He died, His spirit and body became one. 3) The complete salvation of humanity is the resurrection in which their soul and body become one. - If the tent of a physical body is destroyed, its soul is in paradise, and when the Lord comes again, we receive the body of resurrection for complete salvation. (2Co 5:1, Jn 5:25,Php 3:21,1Co15:52)
2. God´s grace is holistic blessing 1) The bitter water of Marah, the promise of healing, and the symbol of Elim (Ex 15:26-27) 2) The grace of God that must not be forgotten (Ps 103:1-4) (1) Forgiveness from sin (2) Healing (3) Redemption from destruction 3) God´s promises to Israel (Ex 23:25-26) (1) Serve the Lord God (2) Blessed water and food (3) Eliminated sickness - the blessing of long life
3. The Threefold Blessing of Jesus Christ 1) The redemption of Jesus on the Cross (1) Redemption from sin (Ro 3:23-25) (2) Redemption from sickness (Mt 8:17, 1Pe 2:24) (3) Redemption from the curse (Gal 3:13, 2Co 8:9) 2) From three calamities to the Threefold Blessing (2Co 5:17, Mt 6:33) 3) The kingdom of heaven is the place where the model of the Threefold Blessing is accomplished. (Rev 21:3-4,6) (1) A spiritual paradise (Rev 22:3, Ps 16:9, 11) (2) An environmental paradise (Rev 21:2, 22:1-3) (3) The paradise of resurrection and eternal life (1Th 4:16-17, Rev 22:5)
Conclusion : The grace of the redemption of the Lord that we taste in the world now is nothing but a taste of the kingdom of heaven. We experience the grace of holistic salvation in a limited way. However, it will become complete on the day when the Lord comes again.
