Ever Follow That Which Is Good
1 Thessalonians 5:15 ~ 5:18

2018-03-11

All people live in the midst of survival competitions. As we live our lives in a society of fierce competitions, there are times when we get upset and face difficulties that we cannot handle. People who believe in God must follow the good no matter what kind of situations they face. If we are always joyful, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances, God will work amazing things for us.

1. A victorious life in faith
1) People who believe in God must have different ways to win in competitions for survival. (1 John 5:4)
2) We must think positively, always be joyful, pray, and give thanks. (1 Thess. 5:16~18)

2. The joy of victory after suffering
1) We must pass through the desert of sufferings in order to enjoy the joy of victory. Jesus made us as the children of God through the suffering and death on the cross. (Heb. 12:2)
2) Even though Apostle Paul had a weakness called a thorn in flesh, he knew that this will make him strong by the power of Christ and rejoiced. (2 Cor. 12:7~10)

3. The fourth dimensional spirituality that prevails in spiritual warfare
1) Above all, we must think positively in order to dream of a new life. (Mark 9:23)
2) We must have clear dreams and goals of life in the Lord. (Phil. 2:13)
3) We must have dreams given by the Lord in our hearts and move forward with faith. (Mark 11:22~24)
4) Dreams come true through the confessions of mouth declared with faith. (Num. 14:28)

Conclusion
People want pleasure without sufferings and rest without difficulties. However, there is no life without sufferings. We can enjoy the joy of victory when we overcome sufferings with faith. Jesus gives us a victorious life overflowing with vitality through the Holy Spirit. Therefore, even though we are in the midst of sufferings, we must live a life where we are always joyful, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances.
