Pastor Cho's Sermon Outline - Yoido Full Gospel Church - Seoul, Korea
The Kingdom of Heaven Having Been Forcefully Advancing
Matthew 11:12

2015-01-25

The kingdom of heaven has two meanings after Jesus having been dead and resurrected. First of all, it is the place to which we will go getting rid of our flesh. Jesus also told us that He is going to prepare the heaven like this. Second, the kingdom of heaven is not confined to a certain place or region. We can feel the presence of heaven wherever we worship Jesus. As Jesus is the King of the heaven, the place where Jesus is becomes the heaven. Having said that, we cannot say where the heaven lies as the heaven lies in our hearts, families, churches, and social organizations in which Jesus dwells.

1. The kingdom of heaven already given
1) The world like hell made by the devil, the king of hell
2) The power and authority of the devil have been disassembled and the devil is now a spiritual being with illegitimate power

2. Liberation and freedom given by Christ
- Repent, for the heaven has come near
1) Fivefold gospel
2) Threefold blessings
3) The unlawful occupant

3. Drive out the devil
1) Drive out the secularity in thoughts
2) Have a dream of heaven
3) Resist in faith
4) Fight with the words that come out of one's mouth

4. Forceful men lay hold of it
1) Know that the devil would resist
2) Know your status certainly
3) Do not tolerate anything unlawful. Christians do everything in a lawful manner.

Break the yoke of the devil as the chosen one, royal priesthood, holy kingdom, and God's possession and forcefully advance into the kingdom of heaven which is justly ours.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.
