Pastor Cho's Sermon Outline - Yoido Full Gospel Church - Seoul, Korea
God¡¯s Preparation for Us
1 Corinthians 2:9 ~ 2:10

2015-11-29

The universe created by God is big and spacious, beyond our imagination. The Earth we live on belongs to the solar system. In fact, this vast solar system consisted of Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune is only a small part of the universe. If we compare ourselves to the spacious universe, we know how weak we are. It is truly amazing grace that God, pleased by having the universe in the palm of His hand, loves and made us who are trivial as His children.

1. Do I exist by chance?

1) We do not exist by chance. We were predestined by God.
2) We were born at the time God has designated. We have become the children of God by being chosen in Christ before the creation of the world and receiving salvation with His grace. (Eph. 1:4~5)

2. Our relationship with Jesus

1) Jesus is our way and wisdom. (Ps. 147:5)
2) By suffering on behalf of us, Jesus has given us the grace of forgiveness of sins and clothed us with His righteousness and holiness. (Rom. 3:23~24)
3) Jesus has given us the healing of the body and heart. (Isa. 53:5)
4) Jesus has given us the blessing and prosperity of Abraham. (1 Cor. 2:9~10)
5) Jesus overcame death and Hades and became our victory. Jesus' resurrection and ascension to heaven are the promise of our resurrection in the future. (John 16:33)

3. My righteous one will live by one's faith

1) Jesus has settled the bondage of the devil on the cross of Calvary. (1 John 3:8)
2) We who have become the children of God must realize the truth, stand firm in faith, stand against the devil by boldly moving forward, and establish the kingdom of God on this land. (1 John 4:4)

Conclusion
Jesus said, "And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them." (Luke 12:29~30) 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." When we commit our problems in life to God and pray, He will do amazing things.
